So, My Pur Mineral blush crumbled up while I was attempting to swatch my blushes last night...
But instead of throwing it away, I decided to crush the entire thing up and mix it with some of my MAC pigments for a new color (too bad it turned out looking similar to my Potpourri blush :[)
Here's a swatch of my blushes:
My custom blush was a mix of Pur Mineral blush in ”Pink Opal”, and MAC pigments in Goldenaire, Pink Bronze and Melon.
Anyways, here's an FOTD I did with the blush:
Face- Laura Mercier oil-free foundation primer
- Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-2
- LORAC Coverup #2
- Majorca Majolica [sp?] Fantasia 24th press powder in #20
- Laura Mercier mineral powder foundation in Pure Honey
- Custom blush
- MAC Pearl Blossom beauty powder
- Benefit Get Even #3 (to contour)
Eyes- MAC Goldenaire pigment
- MAC Blacktrack f/l
- Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara
Lips- MAC Honeylove l/s
- NYX Megashine gloss in Sweetheart
- MAC Viva Glam I
- MAC Rayothon l/g
The lip combo took a LOT of trial and error to accomplish, and felt heavy on the lips with all that product, but I do think it looks pretty. Thankfully I'm going to MAC on Thursday, when I plan to get Bombshell l/s, and maybe some other things!
Speaking of my MAC trip, I believe that all the subscribers of Teen Vogue in my city was invited to a shopping trip thing sponsored by Teen Vogue and David Yurman at one of our higher-end shopping centers. Unfortunately, my Teen Vogue subscription expired, and I hadn't bothered to renew it, but my friend did get an invite and RSVPed for the both of us. I'll be taking pictures for my school newspaper, and I'll most likely end up making an entry over it on ABB. I'm very excited!
And on another note, I remember in my last entry some people asked about my eyelashes, and I can assure you that my lashes are short and stumpy without mascara. Here's a picture of my bare lashes:
Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara does wonders! I use to use Shiseido's Lasting Lift mascara before I discovered Max Factor, and though I do love Shiseido's mascara, I feel that Max Factor does just as good of a job at only $5 a tube. Y'all should definitely check it out!
