This was my first attempt on Pigment presssing! ...
I found it that the very first pigment I pressed it was very frustrating and nerveracking (it felt like I was wasting it and I sort of have a phobia of that o_o) . I made up my mind that I was only going to do one.. but at the end results, the tray in the case and the cap on & everthing, it looked really nice! So I decided to the rest. I only had 6 cases all belonging to a previous brand in which I don't know.. With it, I crumbled and threw away the sucky eye shadows and there I had free cases~!!
The pigments I used were from the Holiday sets I believe warm and cool ? (Forgive me if I'm wrong I'm far too lazy to check). So I chose the most distinct and vibrant colors and decided on that.
Pictures after the jump! [ The picture may be a bit heavy guys. ]
The tools I used were: Alcohol - to help let the pigments adhere to the tray and also help shapen.
A quarter - which did the shaping
paper towel - I used this to wrap around the quarter and also help soak the excess alcohol
Tweezers - help pull the trays from the plastic case and also to spread around evenly the pigments
