Hey there! I love make-up. I like the colours and all the new products always coming out! Mind you I wasn't always this way. There was a time that I hated make-up and I hated doing it for people. Things have changed now and I really enjoy working as a make-up artist even though it can be a very rewarding and inconsistent paycheck! I have gone through formal make-up training from Complections International in their master course and I have also studied basic hair-dressing. After Complections I then moved on to work freelance with some very creative individuals here in Toronto for both paid and un-paid work. I have also worked sparingly in the United States as well. In the new year, I have made the move from full-representation to semi-representation under Click! agency for their specialty size models and am loving how I now have more options open to me both creatively and business-wise.
Aside from make-up i'm a total fashion addict. It all started when my friend and I both participated in our art school's fashion award contest/show which is a greatly anticipated staple among the fashion scene here in Toronto and we came out of it with third place. Sure we didn't get those tickets to fashion week here in Toronto but the show was aired briefly on Fashion! TV and documented the enormity of the event. Ever since then i've been working freelance, applying my design talent to bespoke creations in both garment construction and accessory construction. I will be attending Parsons New School in the coming year (January 2009) and i'm super happy!
To anyone who loves make-up, continue to express yourself in a world of colour and never be afraid to just do what works for you and you alone.

I recieved an invite to the Fafi pre-release party at MAC but for obvious reasons (lack of interest) and lack of people to drag with me, I passed up the party to sleep at home.
