Koji Eye Talk causing redness, dryness, and puffiness?

I got Koji Eye Talk a while ago, and I noticed that it sometimes causes my eyelids to be dry, red, and a little bit puffy. It hasn’t happened all the times that I have used it, but it still happens when I use it and I’m a little concerned. My lids would get red, and people would think I’m wearing red eyeshadow. They’ll also get very flaky. Also it’ll get a bit puffy- and I had a crease on my right eye already, but now it’s gone. I don’t know if it’s from the Eye Talk, or that was supposed to happen.. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m really hoping to get permanent eyelids before the school year starts and at this rate it’s most likely not gonna happen ^^

Oh, and one more thing. For some reason after I applied one layer of glue, then used the pusher, and get a crease, and move onto the other eye- I notice that the crease on the first eye has already faded a little. It’s not as defined, and I’d have to keep using the pusher but it’ll fade away. Maybe it’s because whenever I use the glue the glue "gathers" into the crease for some reason. It’s almost like when eyeshadow creases. It doesn’t stay clear and looks really odd. Is this supposed to happen? I’m kind of confused right now, maybe it’s the way I’m applying it? If anyone can give me any advice or tips, that’ll be great. Thanks :)

I don't have this product yet, but I'm thinking about buying it.
I have a lot of questions about this product though. When you use this, can you still wear eyeshadow and all that stuff? And I don't understand how it works...like does the glue dry? Or does it stay sticky to keep the crease?
And how hard it it to use? How long does it take to have a crease form without the glue?

Well I'm probably doing this wrong because of what's happening to my eyelids right now, so I don't want to give you the wrong information. I DO know that you can put eyeshadow over it. I found a cool tutorial on how to use it, here is the think- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bG7nM0ZUFoU.

I've actually started using the eye talk not too long ago, and at first, it was really annoying and took a bit to get used to. I actually thought about chucking it and sticking with my monolids, but I loved the way it made my eyes look bigger, lol.

I think my eyes basically had to get used to a crease that it hasn't had since I was born, and within a few days of using it, it started to develop a light crease in the same area that I've been using. I noticed that my eyes don't seem as happy if I accidentally leave it on thorugh the night and sleep in it (bad habit).

Also, when you're using the poker thing, make sure you try to poke in deeply, and pull it off slowly. I'm not sure what would be causing the redness, but you should probably stop using it if that's the case.

I use eyelid glue (but not the Koji Eyetalk) on my one monolid eye, and I haven't experienced any problems.
Try to apply your glue to another rather sensitive part of your skin (like the inner wrist perhaps?) and see if the same reaction occurs there.
Anyway, good luck- if you really end up not being able to use Eyetalk, here's the brand of eyeglue that I use (Eye Charm)

lol, it's less than a dollar if you buy it in China like I did

Oh btw, Djpak, the glue does dry to a transparent layer (though I find mine to be semi-sticky even after hours of use) and what it does is stick the fold in place, like. . .eh. . .the two layers of skin will stick to each other. when you close your eyes they're still attached to each other lol. And haha, sometimes, for me- I'll wear eyeshadow on it, and then in the middle of the day the lid will randomly detach and open and bam there's a gap of eyeshadowless skin there.

i think moisturizing before and after use helps with the redness. I also learned from another beautyt blogger name Mary that putting on a second layer really helps to glue to become stickier, i don't know if that helps

I used to use eyetalk for abt 4 yrs. On my last year, I started developing an allergy towards the glue. My lids would be red, puffy, itchy, and flaky like yours. This actually happens when I started using two layers of glue (to make it stickier because the crease would come off halfway thru my day). That's why I dont recommend using the glue for long-term purposes. It created light creases on my lids but it also made it a little droopy after using it for so long. At the end, I got the double eyelid surgery instead

If Eyetalk isn't working for you, you might want to switch brands. I've heard about Darkness Glue that has better reviews than Eyetalk.

It sounds to me that you're developing an allergic reaction to it. Try and stop using it for a while and switch to another brand once the selling, flakiness and redness has gone down.
