I recommend biosilk silktherapy! One small bottle can last up till 3 months depending on your hairlength, since you just have to use a tiny amount. I have to say my hair is a lot shinier and healthier since I’ve used it. It might be expensive but I bought mine on strawberrynet.com with discount.

My favorite hair products that really have made a different to the feel and quality of my hair is Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor (protein treatment that I use 1-2 times a week), Kerastase Masquintense for thich hair (very nourishing treatment) and Wella SP Perfect Hair (leave in protein treatment). These product really makes my hair look and feel healthy and especially the Joico and Wella product makes my hair supershiny! :)

hi... i am teling you are natural way to fix it....mix equal portions of castor oil and coconut oil.....make it warm...apply to hair ...Leave it on for 10-15 mins....then wash hair with shampoo...use a conditioner....do this atleast 2 times in a week....continue the process for 2-3 months for good results....I did & my hair's turned in to soft.....

i'm going to try that oil thing, but currently i'm using lucido-l hair cream. it makes my hair really soft and smooth. i think it helps prevent my hair from getting more dry and breaking. stupid weather is deadly!

I think Rosy Lee's idea is great... it sounds much like what I've just started, which is Lush's Fluff Eaze. I noticed its made of many types of oils. You leave it in hair for 20 minutes then shampoo and condition afterward. The other thing I've started to do which is making my hair softer is skipping shampoo a couple of days a week. Disclaimer: I've only just started these changes in the past few weeks, but I'm liking how soft my hair feels so far!

oh and about hair growth -- I hear biotin-containing capsules will help with healthy hair growth.
