I'm sure SOME people have tattoos on ABB! (: haha
I recently got one, and I love it. I'm pretty much itching to get another like.. 4! I have all of them in mind, too hehe

This is right after my tattoo artist got done (:

This was taken the morning after.

It's my mommy's name, hehe. I love it.

    I'm just interested in seeing what kind of tattoos any of you ladies have. Don't be shy (;

From the first pic I thought you got it on the back of your hand (no clue why), lols, so I was wondering why it was so off centered. XD

Did it hurt getting the tattoo on your rib cage? I’ve heard that the pain from the tattooing alone isn’t bad, but when you get it somewhere boney it hurts like a b**** since it rubs against the bone. How long did it take the tattoo artist to do that? :o

I think it’s cute that you got a tattoo of your mommy’s name! I’ve always found tattoos that are meaningful are the best. You guys must be really close! =D

I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo myself with the character 雪 on the back of my neck (or back), but I’ve been chickening out on it since I heard from some of my friends that they were crying while getting the tattoo done. XD That and because I want to try to find a Chinese tattoo artist to get it done, since I’ve heard that with Asian character tattoos it’s more about writing than simply "copying" the character. Plus, I’ve heard stories of non-Asian artists tattooing Asian characters wrong, which ended up changing the meaning of the characters, lols. XD

    Gr.. One more time:

Aw I love the location! I’ve been considering getting one there or slightly more on the side, below where the bra would hit.

    I have two tattoos.

My first one I got in 2004:
It’s on my hip bone -_-

No significance, though I did get it with my ex-boyfriend...

I really hope that is forum appropriate! >.<, It’s hard to show it at a distance haha

And my second one I got in 2006:

Two paw prints for my two beloved doggies.

That's really cute and sweet! ^-^ I've been wanting a tattoo since sophmore (sp?) year of HS. I wanted to get the character for phoenix with a little picture of a phoenix next to it on my lower back in the middle of my hip line. I wanted this tattoo b/c my chinese name means phoenix, so I thought it would be cool and cute to have something like that on me. ^-^

But I always chickened out too from hearing stories of major pain and infections, and now my husband tells me he doesn't want me getting one either b/c he says from doing a research paper on tatoo he learned that over time the ink somehow gets in to the blood stream. ???? Which made me wish that I actual got the tattoo before I married him. -.-; But it's all good ^-^

Cute tattoos too Angie519, one of my friends got hers on her hip line inbetween the hip and pelvis bone, her tattoo was a butterfly, she was thinking about getting a small red rose on her ankle but decided to get her nipples pierce instead, OUCH! She wish she hadn't done that.

I like the paws, too cute! I've never gotten around to getting a tatoo. I always wonder what would happen if I changed my mind about them. Besides, if I get one I can't go to onsen (spa) in Japan anymore. People with tatoos are not allowed to enter and the spas do wonders for my skin! Arh...that's a sacrifice I'll have to live with :P

Angie 519 -- Your tattoos are so cute! The paws are such a good idea, but I'll end up having like 10 paw prints because I've had so many pets, and I would probably want to remember all of them.. haha. Can't play favorites, you know!

Jenn__Liu -- YEAH! It hurt! haha. But somehow, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. The boyfriend said it was the most metal thing he'd ever seen me do (: lol Also, you don't necessarily need an artist that is Asian to do kanji writing for your tattoo. My artist was white, but he specializes in Japanese tattoos, and even more especially on kanji. (: So do your research and familiarize yourself with your artist!
