After looking at some of your replies, i decided to do the signature look post. I did my makeup and took a few pictures

Face:
Benefit Some A Kind Gorgeous (2 in 1 cake to powder foundation)

Lip:
Opera lip gloss in shade purple(?) [ i got it in china, so not sure how else to say it, it could have been any pink shaded lipgloss]

so cute! I really love purple shadows but have a hard time pulling them off. I think the look goes really really well with your fair skintone, no wonder it's your signature =)

Lols! I have the same problem Audrie, I love purples, but whenever I try to wear it it looks like I got punched in the eyes. >.<" It's such a beautiful color though, and after seeing Yumeko's pictures I'm so tempted to buy the color Parfait Amour. It's sooo prettyyyyy!!

Parfait Amour had a blue tint to the lilac-purple and it is one of the best colour ever created by MAC. It is the closest i can find in MAC that is similar to the one by Sheshido. Unfortunately the newer edition of the pallet is not the same anymore, so i had to go and find a replacement, hence MAC. Star Powder is a white shade that turn pink at a different angle. I often use to overlay a darker colour so the colour i am using could be lighter by blending the two together (does that make sense?)

Hmmmm I'm really tempted to get Parfait Amour now. xD I just love the name too! I love French - Parfait Amour - Perfect Love. x] Such a pretty name for such a pretty little shadow. :D Yeap it does, lol! I do the same thing pretty much, but generally I use light colored pigments to overlay my shadows, but sometimes I do it to just change the tone of my shadows. Ugh! I just did this look I've been doing for years, but I don't have my camera because my dad took it with him when he went to Vietnam. =[ So I'm stuck using my cellphone to take the pictures and it just washed out the colors so much! = Sigh. Gimme a sec and I'll upload them. ^_^

Ugh! I really need to get a camera!! >=( These photos don't even come to show the depths of the colors. =( And my lipcolor looks slightly mauve/purplish. o_O Doesn't at all like that IRL. Sorry about the blurriness of these photos. >.<"

yumeko: i love the purples on you! i really think purple is a great color for asian women! it's one of my fave to use (as well as green). parfait amour was one of my first e/s's and i still love it!
